Cafe Milagro
Cafe Milagro has two locations - one is in Quepos and one is on the main road in Manuel Antonio.
This cafe is a small but excellent location to stop for a snack, sandwich, coffee or breakfast. The food is very much in the organic/granola-culture that one would find in California or many other places in the United States. There are a lot of healthy selections and there are also excellent desserts/baked goods available. There is a small gift shop inside with freshly-roasted bagged coffee and some other local products.
Service is good and the waiters generally speak decent English. In addition, the owners of Cafe Milagro are from the US, so it’s a very American-friendly location.
We would generally not recommend going to Cafe Milagro for dinner as the food selection is more in line with breakfast or lunch food.

Getting to Manuel Antonio
There are two ways to get to Manuel Antonio: drive or fly. Driving is, surprisingly, relatively easy. The whole drive from the San Jose airport only consists of a few turns - driving directions here. But the drive will take you three or more hours. Flying is only 15 minutes to Quepos, but you'll have to brave a small plane and you'll only be able to take limited luggage with you. From there, you can take a short cab ride to Manuel Antonio.
